Post 32 – 34 weeks of pregnancy of your surrogate, we will inform you the likely week of your baby’s birth. Your Relationship Manager from Go Surrogacy will keep close contact with you even over the telephone. You will be advised to apply for leave for 3 -4 weeks to cover the entire procedure to take the baby back.
Not all pregnancy births can be planned. In case of any admission of the surrogate in the hospital for pregnancy management or for labour pains, your RM will call you immediately and request you to arrive in India as soon as possible.
Most people come a few days before the delivery date. If you get late to be there for the delivery, you are advised to arrange to come to India as soon as possible. Until you come, your baby will be in the care of the neonatologist and the obstetrician in the hospital.
You will be present in the hospital during delivery (not in the delivery room?) and the baby psot delivery will be brought in the neonatal ICU for medical care and regular checks. If alls well, the baby will be discharged from the hospital 2 – 3 days post delivery and will be handed over to the Intended Parents (… now Parents !)
A few days after the discharge, you can take an appointment with the pediatrician at the hospital for a routine check up and to understand her care and vaccinations while your stay in India.
