b) Type of IVF Cycle used by the couples

• In case, the couple uses their own eggs then the cost for IVF cycle will remain same, however, the donor eggs or surrogate add an additional high cost to the IVF cycles as it includes legal charges, agency fees, donor or surrogate mother fees and other lab and screening fees.

c) A need for Assisted Hatching

• Assisted Hatching will help in the implantation of the embryo and this is usually done for the women above the age of 40 years or previously failed IVF cycles.

d) A Need of Blastocyst transfer

• Blastocysts are a stage which includes a culture of embryos for an additional 2-3 days. It is a stage where the best embryo(s) are selected for transfer and this is usually done for the couples below the age of 40 years.

e) Need PGD/PGS

• Pre-implantation genetic screening and Pre-implantation genetic diagnosis perform to check the chromosomes for common abnormalities and this is a procedure which is usually performed before transferring the embryo to the women uterus during an IVF or ICSI procedure.

f) Need to freeze extra embryos

• Freezing of the embryos allows the couples to use their own embryo for the next tie when they plan for another baby or they can donate their embryos to someone else who is looking to plan a family.
